The successful applicant must have advanced experience in Microsoft Office and BCE finance system AX Dynamics. The role of the Finance Officer is a wide variety of administrative and financial tasks to support the financial operations of the finance department and College Applications are invited for the position of a College Finance Officer to work as part of the team in our busy office. The primary responsibility of the position is, but not limited to, provide effective and efficient tasks associated with the finance office and administration departments within the College. Prior experience working in a school finance department would be highly advantageous. Applicants should have prior 2-3 years’ experience in Accounts Department, great work ethic, fast and accurate data entry skills, clear oral and written communication skills, exceptional customer service skills. The successful applicant will display proven communication and interpersonal skills, show initiative, be able to work as a member of a team. This role also requires the successful applicant to be a skilful negotiator and be able to liaise with the school’s clients with empathy. The applicant will be highly organised and be able to demonstrate sound judgement and discretion and confidentiality at all times

Salary Level, Range or Hourly Rate:   Level 4 School Officer

Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
