An opportunity has arisen for a Flexible Hours Trainer Assessor in Food and Drink Manufacturing to join the Apprenticeships team at the Trafford College Group and play a leading role in realising our vision of being a dynamic career college. 

This is an exciting time to join the Group following the merger with Stockport College. A major refurbishment programme is planned for the Stockport Campus and this represents a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to drive transformational change for students, employers and communities of Stockport and Trafford.

The College has a commitment to work based learning and raising skills for industry and has an exciting opportunity for an experienced trainer/assessor to deliver training and carry out assessment on the food and drink manufacturing programmes we are delivering.

Responsibilities will include conducting initial assessments and training needs analysis, planning and delivering innovative learning programmes enabling learners to develop their knowledge and practical skills and carrying out regular learning reviews to ensure learners succeed in a timely manner. 

To be considered for this role it is essential that you have substantial occupational experience and competency within the food manufacturing sector.   In addition you must have a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths along with an Assessor qualification, verifier qualification and a PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification, or be willing to work towards them. 

A full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this position.
