Just 30 minutes by train from Central London, The Highcrest Academy is the first All Ability Academy in the county of Buckinghamshire. It is culturally diverse and a vibrant school, making it a fantastic place to teach. We have some students who will need all your support and yet we also featured in the national Ofsted report (2016) for providing challenge to the most able. Does this enthuse you?  

There are approximately 950 students on roll, which includes the Sixth Form. A new building programme, just completed, comprises a brand-new Sixth Form Centre, sports facilities including a gym and a new restaurant and coffee shop for both students and staff.  

We are seeking a qualified teacher to join our successful Design and Technology Team. We are a forward-thinking department who work closely to ensure that students receive the best possible experience across all design and technology areas. The department is modern and well equipped.  We have three technicians within the department, one of whom is solely used within the food technology room. 

You should be familiar with the current food and nutrition curriculum and have experience of teaching up to KS4. This role could suit an NQT as a Teacher only. However, there is the possibility for a suitably experienced candidate to take on additional responsibilities as Second in Department.
