Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching Food Technology to at least GCSE.

Immediate start – July 2020


Vision for Education is seeking to appoint an Food Technology Teacher for a supply assignment to start as soon as possible. The role will include the planning, delivery, assessment, and marking of Food Technology provision at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.


The role

The role is a maternity leave cover for the remainder of the academic year, and will require the desired Teacher of Food Technology to plan, deliver and mark across Key Stage 3 and 4. The role is full time, so full availability Monday to Friday for this period would be required, however flexible working arrangements can be discussed for the right candidate. The desired candidate will have experience of teaching Food Technology to GCSE level. The ability to teach further Design and Technology disciplines would also be advantageous.

Requirements

To be considered for the position of Food Technology Teacher, you will:


• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching Secondary Food Technology up to GCSE.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
