GAP YEAR TEACHING ASSISTANT

September 2020 – July 2021

The role of a Gap Year Teaching Assistant is a hugely rewarding one and offers the successful candidates the opportunity to become widely involved in the busy life of our exciting School.

The successful candidates will support teaching staff in lessons, the Head of Games/PE in coaching a range of sports, support staff in the School Office and other Heads of Department as required. It is also expected that Gap Teaching Assistants will be willing to contribute to the School’s Co-curricular programme, including attendance on residential visits during term-time, if required.  

Working hours will be 35 per week (plus 1 hour unpaid lunch break) Monday - Friday, term time only. Exact timings will be discussed in detail with the successful candidates. 

This is a paid position and the salary will be approximately £11,423 paid over 11 months, term time only, from September 2020 to July 2021 (based on £15,000 per annum full-time equivalent).
