Job overview

We are looking for a well-qualified, passionate and committed geography teacher, who values continuing professional development, to co-ordinate geography across Years 7-9. This is a superb opportunity to take on a middle management opportunity in an outstanding Humanities team.  The successful candidate will be required to teach geography up to and including A level.

Examination results at both G.C.S.E. and A level have consistently been significantly above national averages.  Take up at KS4 and KS5 is extremely high, with geography being one of the most popular options at both key stages. Fieldwork plays an important role in our provision.  Staff are based in rooms adjacent to each other in the Livingstone Building, each one having an interactive whiteboard and projector.

This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check and is not suitable for anyone who has been barred in any way from working with children.

Visits to the school prior to application are welcome. Please use the contact details below.

Closing date: Tuesday, 24th May 2022 at midday

Application forms and further details are available on the school and Bridge Academy Trust websites.

Alternatively, contact Liz Thompson (Headteacher’s P.A.) to whom all applications should be submitted. Telephone: 01245 260101 or E-mail: lthompson@moulshamhigh.org.
