We are seeking to appoint a friendly and self-motivated German Language Assistant to join the staff of the senior school and support our vibrant Modern Languages department.
The aim of the role is to improve pupils’ linguistic ability and develop their knowledge of a different society and culture. You will support the work of the language department under the supervision of the foreign language teachers, through whole class situations or small groups of students. The successful applicant would be expected to plan activities and produce resources to enable students to improve their German language skills.
We are seeking a candidate who is fluent in German, to mother-tongue standard and who has the ability to provide effective and engaging language lessons. If you have relevant experience in an educational setting and can establish positive relationships with children, we would love to hear from you.
