We are currently seeking an outstanding German Teacher, on a part-time basis, to start in September 2023. You will be part of a strong, dynamic MFL department, providing high quality teaching across the school. You will have excellent subject knowledge, be an effective communicator and have a track record of achieving outstanding academic results for your pupils.
You will have experience of teaching German at KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will be passionate about teaching and be committed to providing high quality learning and experiences for all children.
The position will be a part-time post, working across 3 days per week.

Babington House School is an independent day school from 3 to 18 years, situated in a beautiful group of buildings on Grange Drive in Chislehurst, near Bromley (3 minutes’ walk from Elmstead Woods Station).
It is a co-educational School from 3 to 18 years. It currently has just over 430 pupils with no more than 20 children in a class.
This is an exciting time for Babington House School with growing pupil numbers. This growth is providing opportunities for new staff to join this friendly and supportive team, working with delightful children in small classes in a highly successful and progressive school.

Teachers inspire pupils from the Sixth Form right down to the Nursery and achieve excellent results. Over the past three years, A-Level pupils have achieved 80% A* to B grades and Babington’s Early Years provision has been top of the Bromley Borough league tables.
The Senior School is academically selective with an Entrance Examination for Year 7 entry. In the Sixth Form, the focus very much on A-level study in small sets whilst at the same time providing the opportunity for work experience, something that will help their university applications stand out and provide great self-confidence.
