Academic year 2021/2, FTC, £12,000 Pro Rata plus accommodation.
We seek to appoint a Graduate Music Assistant to assist with the successful delivery of musical activities at Rugby School. Opportunities will be available to learn and develop teaching skills as well as the chance to work alongside and to learn from highly experienced music staff.
Ideally the successful candidate will be a recent university/music college graduate who offers skill as a choral singer. The ability to play the piano and/or the violin would be an advantage.
The School is a boarding and day school in full operation seven days per week including evenings during term time. Pastoral, co-curricular, cultural and sports activities take place outside normal day-school hours, and candidates will be expected to contribute fully to these activities. Accommodation is offered.
Closing date: 11th April 2021
The School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/belief, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or age.
