Graduate Sports Assistants - Hockey and Rugby

30 hours/week during term-time plus 30 Saturdays throughout the school year

September 2021 - Fixed term for 1 year

c11,500 GBP - 12,000 GBP per annum

The school draws equal numbers of pupils from its city surroundings as it does the established suburbs of West Yorkshire and the lower Dales.  Our outstanding sporting alumni include Olympians Alastair and Jonny Brownlee, Adrian Moorhouse, Charlie Hodgson and cycling performance analyst for Team GB, Deborah Sides.

We believe in providing every opportunity for our Junior and Senior pupils and we want to hear from talented graduates who will assist in the coaching and management of teams.  Candidates will have played hockey  or rugby at a high level, preferably at school or university first squad (minimum) and be enthusiastic about passing on skills to young people and be able to demonstrate experience of working with children.  To have ability to offer another sport in Swimming and/or Strength and Conditioning would be a distinct advantage.
