Salary:        FMAT Scale 5 (£24,920 - £25,927) FTE

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 

Fairfax Multi Academy Trust has an exciting opportunity for a Grounds Maintenance Lead to join our existing Estates Team. Reporting to the Trust Estates Lead, the postholder is required to provide a high-quality building and labouring service for the maintenance and presentation of the Academies. 

We are therefore looking for a responsible and committed member of staff who is able to complete duties safely, cleanly and discretely so as to minimise impact on the everyday school function.

To be considered, you will need to have; 

• Basic training in either; plumbing, grounds maintenance, electrical/building maintenance or heating systems 

• Experience of undertaking responsibility for the care and maintenance of premises 

• Ability to learn and follow basic contractual requirements and understand contract terms

• Willingness to undertake appropriate training and development ie Fire Marshall, First Aid and Water Temperature (Legionella) training.
