Grounds Person - Chisholm Catholic College, CORNUBIA

The successful applicant will:

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;

• currently hold or be eligible to hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card; and

• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

Chisholm Catholic College is seeking a Full Time Grounds Person. The employee appointed to this position will be required to demonstrate competency involving the application of knowledge and skills to a range of tasks and roles. Operations are within well-established routines, methods and procedures. Scope exists for exercising initiative in the application of established work practices and procedures and some expertise may be required to resolve issues within the day-to-day environment. The purpose of this role is to ensure that expertise, energy and experience are all brought to bear on the presentation of the College grounds as a flourishing, living environment, well maintained and continuously improved and suitable to the educational environment.

Chisholm Catholic College is a Brisbane Catholic Education secondary college in the Brisbane-Gold Coast corridor catering for approximately 900 students. Chisholm Catholic College is a college looking to provide the widest possible range of pathways for our students with Authority and Authority Registered subjects and Subject Area Specifications as well as TAFE and Vocational Education subjects.
