Hairdressing Teaching Assistant / Halton

Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant with previous hairdressing experience to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a Pupil Referral Unit in Halton. This  teaching assistant role will start immediately and the position will be full-time and the candidate will be required to hold previous hairdressing experience. 

The desired Hairdressing Teaching Assistant  must be passionate about building relationships with pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties, whereby a mainstream setting may have not been appropriate. The desired Teaching Assistant does not have to have experience of working within a PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) setting, but must be comfortable in assisting pupils of a secondary age.

This school was graded Good by Ofsted in its most recent inspection. The school is "a safe and supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to reach their potential ."

To be considered for the position of Hairdressing Teaching Assistant you must:

  • Have previous hairdressing experience. 
  • Have a passion for assisting pupils with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
