Job overview

Working in schools is a highly rewarding and varied career and if you feel that you can make a difference to young people’s lives and would like to know more about how to start your career in education I would like for you to get in touch.

Here at ABC teachers we are friendly bunch and you would be working for some of the most experienced and hardworking consultants in education recruitment. Over the last 18 months we have experienced a huge demand for cover supervisors to work in secondary schools across Birmingham.

You can work as little or as often as you like as this is a flexible role and is suited to people who are still at university studying for a PGCE and are trying to build up teaching experience OR if you have been working as a sports coach/teaching assistant/youth worker and are looking at a potential career in teaching.

Skills needed:

  • Hold  a degree or equivalent.
  • Own transport or be prepared to use public transport.
  • Flexible.
  • Adaptability.
  • Good sense of humor and ability to build rapport with staff and pupils.
  • At  least 20 days experience working with groups  of secondary age children.

This would be an excellent opportunity for someone looking to break into education and is considering a PGCE.

Competitive rates of pay are available.
