Acorn Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an ambitious and inspirational Head of School to start from 1st September 2019.

We are looking for someone with enthusiasm, vision and drive to lead this very successful Church school at the heart of its community. The successful applicant will be ambitious for the school, high performing and able to demonstrate consistently high expectations and resilience. Following and Outstanding SIAMS in June 2018 and a good Ofsted in July 2018, they will build on the schools current level of success and strong Christian ethos to make their own mark and move the school forwards.

As Head of School you will have full autonomy to lead the operational development of the school coupled with the support and encouragement of the Executive Head Teacher. The Trust has assumed responsibility for financial, premises and HR management allowing the Head of School to focus on teaching and learning to improve the life chances of children in their care.

Mrs Ethelston’s is a Church school with 185 children on roll and is situated on the Devon/Dorset border close to Lyme Regis on the beautiful Jurassic Coast. The school is an integral part of the community and benefits from supportive parents, governors and motivated children.
