The Governors invite applications for the post of Head of St Nicholas’ School to succeed Mrs Annette Whatmough, who is retiring after 22 years of outstanding leadership and service to the school.
Judged as excellent in its latest (September 2015) ISI Inspection, St Nicholas’ School is one of the top independent schools in Hampshire, educating boys 3-7 and girls 3-16. The school is set on a rural, green campus and enjoys first-class facilities, outstandingly committed staff and supportive governors.
There is a strong tradition of high achievement in all areas and excellent pastoral care. Pupils thrive in the environment and greatly benefit from the strongly positive ethos of the school.
The Governors are looking for a leader who is able to take the school on to its next stage of success. You must have a passion for education, clear strategic vision, first-class communication skills, and demonstrable experience in delivering high educational standards. The new Head must also be in sympathy with, and supportive of the Christian foundation and ethos of the school.
