Marlborough House School is a leading independent day and boarding prep school for boys and girls situated in 34 acres of exquisite countryside in Hawkhurst, on the Kent/Sussex border. The School has a rich history having been founded in Hove in 1874, before moving to its current site in 1930. Marlborough House today provides a high-quality education with a truly individual focus. Pupils are supported, encouraged and inspired to unlock their unique talents and potential at each stage of their journey from the age of 3 to 13. The Governors of Marlborough House now seek to appoint a new Head to lead the School from September 2020. This person will inspire by providing a compelling vision, clear leadership and a personal style which successfully engages the school and wider community. They will have a true passion for high-quality teaching and learning, and a drive and determination to remain up-to-date with contemporary education. This person will also be wholly committed to the importance and impact of excellent pastoral care and well-being for young people.
