Morogoro International School, situated 190 kms west of Dar-es-Salaam in Tanzania, is a not-for-profit mixed day and boarding school offering the British Curriculum from nursery school up to A levels

Founded in 1976, MIS is one of the oldest established international schools in Tanzania.

With 284 students on roll (90% Tanzanian) including 67 boarders and the introduction of CIE A levels in 2015, MIS is an expanding and developing school with a vibrant mix of nationalities within its teaching faculty.

The A level section of the school now has 24 students on roll (fourteen in Year 12 and ten in Year 13) and we require an energetic and enthusiastic leader able to expand and develop the A level programme in the school.

In return for successfully continuing the upward momentum of our small but ambitious school, we will provide a salary commensurate with experience and qualifications (must be a fully qualified teacher (preferable specialism in Maths or Science) educated up to a minimum of degree level).
