Head of Aquatics

The first and only full, not-for-profit International Baccalaureate (IB) international school in Bangkok, Thailand, NIST International School was established in 1992 with the support of the United Nations. The school now welcomes over 1,600 students representing more than 60 nationalities and provides all three IB programmes. NIST is governed by the parent-elected NIST International School Foundation and is accredited through the Council of International Schools (CIS) and New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC).
Recognized worldwide for its progressive approach, the IB programmes provide students with critical 21st century skills. The academic structure emphasizes exploration, risk-taking and trans-disciplinary learning. All students are required to take part in community service activities that encourage them to empathize with others and actively solve issues. NIST also partners with other elite international schools in offering the Global Citizen Diploma, an optional qualification that allows graduates to showcase their strengths in leadership, service and community engagement. NIST maintains strong child protection policies and procedures, and we carefully screen all applicants by requiring a full, official background clearance. We strive to provide a safe, secure environment for all students.
