We wish to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to lead the Visual Arts department. Applications from strong, experienced classroom practitioners are welcomed for this key role in the College.
The department is a very popular option subject at both KS4 and KS5 and offers GCSE and A Level Art and Design along with A Level photography. There is a very good background of success in the visual arts in school. The department is housed in a suite of excellent, modern classrooms.
You will be an innovative teacher who is passionate about your subject. You will be joining an experienced and supportive team who are committed to raising student achievement at a time when the College is improving rapidly under the leadership of our Principal and high quality teaching is driving this improvement. The new school building is situated in a pleasant location which is only 30 minutes to both Brighton and Croydon by rail or car.

Ifield Community College is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in West Sussex serving students from the ages of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Crawley has approximately 1,020 students on role.
Ifield Community College was established in 1966, with a new school building opening in the centre of campus in 2005. The secondary school has a broad range of sporting faciltiies, including a fitness suite, tennis courts and a large playing field.
