This is a fantastic opportunity for a well-qualified, driven professional who is an outstanding classroom practitioner to progress within our Family of Schools. You will be an inspiring leader with the energy and creativity to lead a growing team of teachers. You must possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and share our single goal of ‘students first’.
You will also have the leadership experience and the ability to challenge individuals within your team whilst supporting them to achieve outstanding results. The department aims to continue its success at GCSE whilst striving to exceed its targets at all key stages. We are committed to delivering the best possible Art curriculum and the Leader of Art will be supported by the Head of Arts and Directors of Art across the Family of Schools.
In our last OFSTED inspection we were judged good in all areas. As one the country's first Teaching Schools, we offer high quality support and programmes of professional development, which provide many opportunities for colleagues at all levels. The Academy benefits from being part of the Outwood Family of Schools, which affords opportunities for staff to work and progress across several schools if desired. All staff are guaranteed a minimum of two hours CPD per week and a further comprehensive programme of professional development is provided through our own network of teaching schools.
