This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to lead a vibrant and strong department. Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong leadership and management skills, and have the ability to inspire students and staff.
Extensive subject knowledge is required, as well as a real enthusiasm for science and biology in particular. Being able to articulate and implement a clear vision for the future of biology at St Helen’s will be essential. In addition to teaching across the age and ability range, the post-holder will have pastoral responsibilities within their allocated year group.
All teaching staff are expected to contribute to the pastoral and enrichment programmes of the School. All staff share the responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of the students, in accordance with the School’s safeguarding policies.
