We are seeking a well-qualified and enthusiastic Biology specialist to lead this lively and successful department full-time. All pupils take separate sciences including Biology at GCSE; over 50 students per year take the subject at A-level, achieving outstanding results. The Science faculty has recently been completely refurbished and the Biology department enjoys excellent modern facilities. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across all ages and provide strong and imaginative leadership for the department and within the Science faculty.
The post would be equally suitable for an experienced teacher with leadership aspirations, or an experienced Head of Department. A willingness to contribute to the School’s wide range of co-curricular activities is expected. The School uses 1-1 technology to enhance teaching and learning.
