The Hammond has experienced significant growth over the past few years, leading to the creation of a new resident Head of Boarding role designed to ensure the school and students thrive and continue to take their place as leaders in the performing arts industry. This is an exciting time to join The Hammond as it further develops the plethora of courses offered to students from GCSE and A Level studies, expert training as part of the Trinity Diploma, specialised Theatre Arts training, to the rigour of our Musical Theatre Performance degree in collaboration with the University of Chester.
JOB ROLE: HEAD OF BOARDING
ACCOUNTABILITY TO: The Vice Principal (Director of Student Support)
RESPONSIBLE FOR: The line management responsibilities will vary but will include all members of the boarding team.
As resident Head of Boarding you will be a presence in boarding leading the supervision and guidance of staff for the safety and welfare of all boarding students. You will be in overall charge of Boarding and to manage efficiently the staffing, organisation and resources of the Boarding department, across both our boarding houses, providing for the safety, good discipline and pastoral well-being of all boarding pupils conducive to learning and growth.
