Job overview

We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic educationalist to take on the role of Head of Chinese across all three phases of the school. The Head of Chinese will have proven ability as an outstanding practitioner, capable of demonstrating creative and innovative practice and able to work in partnership, leading and communicating effectively with children, parents and staff. A commitment to high standards and excellence, coupled with the ability to implement strategies and lead by example will be expected.

The successful applicant will be a fully qualified and experienced Primary or Secondary School Chinese teacher. The applicant must also have a Degree in Education or equivalent postgraduate qualification as well as recent proven experience.

Successful candidates will receive a competitive compensation package; posts include cash, housing and professional development allowances, a gratuity of 18.75%, full remuneration of school fees for one child per family, and medical and dental insurance for the employee.

Interviews will be conducted in Hong Kong and London and via Skype.
