Job overview

Tes is supporting this Secondary School in Wandsworth with the appointment of a Head of Computer Science.

You will develop the school's provision of Computer Science, maintaining the outstanding history of outcomes and student destinations.

You will interpret and develop results to make improvements in pupil achievement. 

You will also assist the Assistant Principal/Principal, in monitoring, evaluating and continually improving the quality of planning, teaching and learning, and assessment of all members of the subject team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Degree in Computer Science or related subject
  • A robust awareness of keeping children safe, noticing safeguarding and welfare concerns, and understanding how and when to take appropriate action
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills
  • Resilient, motivated and committed to achieving excellence
  • Reflective and proactive in seeking feedback to constantly improve practice
