We are looking to recruit a Head of Creative Arts who is also an Art Teacher with a commitment to academic excellence and helping every child succeed. In this role you will be heading up the teaching of Creative Arts and overseeing Art, Drama and Music.
This is a great opportunity to develop the academy’s Creative Arts provision in readiness for a growing team. We are looking for an inspiring teacher who will develop their strengths by leading on curriculum development, planning, teaching and assessment and secure excellent outcomes for all students in these subject areas.

About the school
Ark Victoria Academy is a large all-through school, which was judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted in May 2019. Teaching and leadership are strengths and teachers demonstrate expert subject knowledge. Time is given for reading, research and intellectual preparation to ensure teachers hone their craft and continue to develop and improve.

We have excellent facilities which include an astro-turf sports pitch, a four-court sports hall, a recording studio, two art/DT rooms, a dance studio, a fitness suite and a performance/school hall.
