Head of Creative Arts (Art Specialist)

We are seeking an enthusiastic, imaginative and collaborative leader to take this faculty on the next stage of its development. You will be able to lead the Faculty and teach Art across the school up to A level. The School has a well-equipped and vibrant creative arts faculty including Drama, Art, Music and Dance. This a collaborative team that is developing a curriculum with common themes across these subjects. The School has Embedded the Julliard Drama and Music programmes and is in the process of developing the Julliard Dance programme. We have excellent facilities for Music Drama and Art and are in the process of developing our Dance provision to meet the needs of this growing subject. The Art Department teaches in both Primary and Secondary and you will need to be enthusiastic about teaching across this range

The Creative Arts Faculty is very successful, there is strong uptake in Drama Music and Art at IGCSE and A Level and results are consistently good in these subjects. We plan to introduce IGCSE Dance in 2021. We are looking for an enthusiastic leader who can build a strong team ethos and bring these subjects together to create a truly excellent learning experience for our students. You will have a clear vision of what excellent learning looks like and create an environment where colleagues are sharing their expertise to deliver this in all subjects.
