Oxford Spires Academy has the exciting opportunity to appoint a Head of Faculty for Creative Arts to join and lead its thriving, friendly and collaborative faculty from January 2019. The position would suit an exceptional Drama practitioner with a proven track record of success and ambition who is able to build excellent relationships with students as well as leading and inspiring an established and successful team of professionals.   The Creative Arts Faculty is enthusiastic, friendly, creative, forward thinking and high achieving. The team has a high profile within the school community, students enjoy their learning and successes in this area. We celebrate achievement through a range of ways which include; gallery exhibitions, Drama and Music performances and House competitions.  As an academy we highly value the arts and recognise the impact that this has in allowing all students the opportunity to be successful. We are looking for somebody who can continue to build on the current excellent practice, who has the drive and passion to make the arts exceptional in every way.    We heavily invest in our professional development and provide the opportunity, through the Oxford Deanery and Oxford University, to complete a Masters qualification in Education.
