Head of Cricket Coaching
RGS Worcester is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Cricket Coach to work closely with the Head of Cricket, to develop the winter and summer Cricket programmes for boys, and to develop girls’ cricket at the School.
The successful candidate would ideally have played high-level cricket and hold at least a Level 2 ECB Coaching qualification. Experience of coaching groups of young players aged 11-18 years is essential; possibly within both female and male coaching environments. The Cricket Coach will be expected to contribute fully to the Cricket Development Plan and assist in building the profile of the School’s Cricket throughout the county, as well as helping with talent identification. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to join our cricket team to build on the historic and recent successes of RGS Worcester Cricket.
Hours are negotiable, with the majority of coaching hours occurring in the Summer term. However, there will be a requirement to coach at other times in the academic year in order to assist with our winter training programme. There may be the potential for further involvement in other sports for the right candidate.
RGS Worcester has a strong reputation locally and nationally in Cricket. Our ground, called Flagge Meadow, is over 130 years old and has recently become Worcestershire CCC's second home.
