£28,000 - £35000 per annum dependent on experience

Priory Education and Children’s  Services is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural  care for commissioners across the UK. With over 100 high quality  schools, colleges and homes we focus on making a real and lasting  difference for everyone we support.

Farleigh Further Education College Frome is an independent  specialist residential college for young people aged 16 to 25 who have  an ASD diagnosis.

The college provides a varied range of learning opportunities  including both academic and vocational pathways. Learning is delivered  both on site at Farleigh FE College and off site, where we work with a  range of external partners including local FE colleges.

We aim to provide every young person with an individually tailored  programme of education, care, work experience, leisure and life skills  and training within the community, to enable them to live as  independently as possible.

Our dedicated team of staff create a safe, secure and supportive  environment where our learners have a sense of belonging. Our approach  enables young people to develop the confidence and skills they need to  progress towards adulthood, including further or higher education and  sustainable independent living in the community.

We are seeking an experienced educational practitioner to lead  and develop our on site curriculum and manage the quality of the  provision. The ideal candidate will be an experienced qualified teacher,  with excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills.  Working at Farleigh FE College offers a unique opportunity to develop  bespoke programmes of learning for young people to encourage and  facilitate positive outcomes and development.

Experience of working in a SEN environment is desirable, along with knowledge of ASD and complex needs.

We are looking at candidates who can either specialise in on-site or off-site provision to join our exciting college.

For all roles we require a minimum of two references.  References  provided must cover the last 3 years, or you are applying to work within  our Children’s Homes we will need to request all references from where  you have worked with either Children or Vulnerable Adults.

Please be advised that references will be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
