A vacancy has arisen for September 2019 for a suitably qualified Head of Design Technology, capable of teaching from Key Stage 3 to Advanced Level.
There may be an additional requirement for some teaching of Design Technology at Merchant Taylors’ Junior Boys’ School.
You will be energetic, enthusiastic, ICT literate and suitably aware of Health and Safety protocols within the workshop environment. Applicants must be prepared to contribute towards extra-curricular activities within the School as well as ensuring a rich programme of departmental academic enrichment.
The school is a member of HMC. We have a long record of outstanding achievement, high educational standards and strong pastoral care.
There are currently 560 boys, of whom 160 are in the Sixth Form and 150 in the Junior School. Founded in 1620, the school has since that time been providing an academic and disciplined education for local boys from a wide range of backgrounds.
