Job overview

We wish to appoint an exceptional Head of Drama to join the supportive environment of our Drama Department who will use their experience, extensive subject knowledge, and vision to deliver ambitious and high-quality learning and teaching opportunities.

You will be passionate about Drama and have a resolve to make a real difference to our pupils. You will be able to plan and deliver an interesting and stimulating curriculum. Setting a level of challenge for all abilities across all key stages within lessons and the thriving extracurricular activities already on offer will be important to you.

We have an enviable professional development programme available that allows all staff to develop in their role with opportunities for internal promotion throughout the Trust.

Haberdashers’ Knights Academy is a vibrant, diverse 11–18 school community with a relentless focus on high expectations and aspirations. We serve the families of the local community in the London Boroughs of Lewisham and Bromley and are part of the Haberdashers’ Academies Trust South, a well-established multi-academy trust of four secondary and five primary schools in southeast London and Kent with over 6000 students and 600 staff.
