The Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher to lead a key strand of our Technology faculty. We currently offer Engineering across KS3 and KS4, however the successful applicant will be able to change this to Design Technology or Resistant Materials if desired to meet the needs of our pupils to further build a modern and forward-thinking curriculum.
The successful candidate should have relevant teaching experience or qualifications and up-to-date knowledge of developments and health and safety.
The faculty provides its members with a supportive and forward-thinking environment, containing 2 full-time technicians and a state-of-the-art Construction teaching facility.
The Academy provides high quality professional development opportunities at all stages of teacher development, including health and safety training for all machinery and equipment. These range from our extensive ECT programme through to Leadership progression opportunities within Paignton and across the Trust. The Academy is situated in Torbay and is part of the beautiful English Riviera. It is within easy reach of stunning beaches with golden sands, rolling countryside and Dartmoor. It is also a short drive away via new South Devon link road which brings a host of benefits including easy access to the City of Exeter and its surrounding areas.
