An outstanding role for an experienced teacher looking for their next step into a senior role.
West Hill Park School is a thriving and successful Co-Educational Independent Prep School for boys and girls aged 3 – 13. Our aim is develop each individual pupil to their potential, by providing an appropriate and balanced curriculum and extra-curricular activities that encourage success, service and satisfaction. Classes are small (between 15 – 20 pupils) and we have motivated, enthusiastic and curious learners.
We’ll look to you to lead this strong and successful department and ensure that all of our pupils have the best learning experience. The ability to teach English to scholarship level as well as experience in subject coordination across the age range is vital. You will also have responsibility for learning, assessment and curriculum development for Years 1-8 and will work alongside the Director of Studies and Head of Early Years, to develop English and Drama across the Prep School. An interest in becoming involved with sports coaching and/or boarding would also be beneficial.
With first-rate facilities across 28 acres of grounds, our school is nestled in the pretty village of Titchfield, between Southampton and Portsmouth. Transport links are good, as we are near to the M3 motorway and rail links to London Waterloo. Accommodation may also be available and there is potential to help with relocation costs for the right candidate.
We have a strong sense of community and you will be joining a warm, friendly working environment, with a supportive and encouraging Leadership team. To see more of our school, please click here to see our video: http://www.westhillpark.com/Our-Film
