Job overview

A unique career opportunity to work in a brand new, state of the art £34 million school and build a department, starting with Year 7.

This is a genuinely unique opportunity to take on a founding role at the first ‘all through’ school in Essex.

The Beaulieu Park School opened the doors to 60 Reception children in September 2018. In September 2019, another cohort will be welcomed into the Primary School, together with 180 Year 7 students. We are pleased that we are oversubscribed with families nominating us as their first choice school. The school will grow one year at a time until it is full in 2024. We are already planning our 6th form provision.

We are looking to appoint a Subject Lead for English to be play a pivotal role in the development of our English department.

This role will suit a skilled and ambitious teacher and the successful candidate will have the passion, drive and vision necessary to establish the provision of English at the school.

This is an evolving role and each year additional English teachers will be added to your team. As our first secondary cohort complete their Year 9 studies, the TLR offered for this post will increase to TLR1C.
