We’re looking to recruit English teacher to join our NAS Nantong, a Nord Anglia Education school.

 

THE SCHOOL

 

NAS Nantong opens in September 2019 and provides a state of the art teaching and learning environment to up to 1728 students. The unique international learning experience at NAS Nantong will offer students aged 6 -18 years old the best of eastern and western education resources and philosophies. The bilingual curriculum will be based on the Jiangsu K-12 curriculum blended with globally respected international curriculum elements and teaching methods. Students will gain a solid foundation of Chinese culture, whilst equipping them with the knowledge and skills they will need to be successful in an increasingly globalised world. The school is located in Nantong Sutong area, the campus covers an area of 71 acres, which can accommodate 1728 students and 864 boarders; providing the perfect environment for a well-rounded education.

We’ll look to you to promote high expectations for our students, designing learning activities that are aligned to our school’s curriculum and creating a learning culture where there are no limits to what can be achieved. You will foster an environment of respect within the classroom, facilitating learning through questioning and discussion.

You will be able to adapt quickly to our fast-paced international environment, you will possess a university degree, a recognised teaching qualification, and teaching experience. Committed and creative, you will be reflective on your own teaching and student outcomes, seeking out and implementing new ideas and innovative methods to raise the school’s level of achievement.

 

Keen to collaborate and share your specialist expertise, you will be a fitting ambassador for the school. You will communicate with confidence across diverse audiences and situations, using your expertise to build strong relationships with parents and students. You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for China region, including Criminal Check, Reference Letter of over two years' experience, hold a bachelor’s degree, etc.

Opening in September 2019, NAS Nantong bilingual school will provide a state of the art, world-class teaching and learning environment with a total student capacity of 1,728. Providing a unique blended learning experience, NAS Nantong will offer students the best of eastern and western education resources and philosophies for students aged 6 - 18. The bilingual programme will be based on the Chinese K-12 curriculum blended with globally respected international teaching pedagogy and education resources. Students will experience a solid foundation of Chinese culture,whilst equipping them with the knowledge and skills they will need to be successful in an increasingly globalised world.

As part of the Nord Anglia Education family of schools, it shares resources and knowledge with 56 other schools around the world.
