We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and talented Head of English to join our thriving independent school in the heart of Windsor.  This fantastic opportunity will be suited to an individual with excellent subject knowledge who is committed to inspiring and motivating children through their innovative and engaging teaching.  You will be joining a hardworking and dedicated team, with excellent experience and expertise, who prioritise literacy across the curriculum.  An understanding of EYFS and KS1 would be desirable as the successful candidate would teach English in the Prep Department but lead English throughout the school.  You would be expected to be a strong role model, deliver outstanding teaching, input development plans, monitor progress in your subject and confidently promote English teaching at Upton House.

Upton House School is a independent co-educational preparatory school in Windsor, Berkshire. The school was first opened in 1936, and is located on a one acre site in the centre of Windsor. In 2008 the two-storey facility Little Upton was opened, containing pre-nursery and nursery rooms with access to an outdoor play area. There are approximately 295 students on the school roll. Upton House is denominationally Christian, and is a registered charity.
