This dynamic and forward looking department is looking to recruit an inspirational head of department to lead the team and promote Ethics at KS3, 4, and 5 as well as throughout the school. If you are looking to teach within a highly professional and supportive comprehensive environment and would welcome the opportunity to work with us to enable all our students to reach their full potential, then we would like to hear from you.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Ethics Teacher with a record of strong achievement across KS3, 4 and 5 to lead the department. For an excellent candidate there is also an opportunity to lead the Humanities faculty. We offer extensive CPD and would anticipate the candidate rapidly progressing to a more senior leadership role.

Our students are well motivated and examination performance at Key Stages 4 and 5 has rapidly progressed over the last 5 years. This year, we achieved the school’s best ever GCSE results and were placed first in the post 16 league table in Poole for value added. Consequently, we are within the top 25% of schools nationally at KS4 and KS5 for progress. The humanities subjects have been highly significant in contributing to these excellent student outcomes.
