Poole High School is an 11-18 comprehensive school serving families throughout the historic town of Poole. As the largest school in this selective catchment, we pride ourselves on the fact that all students thrive in this caring and collaborative environment.
Our students are well motivated and examination performance at Key Stages 4 and 5 has rapidly progressed over the last 5 years. This year, we achieved the school’s best ever GCSE results and were placed first in the post 16 league table in Poole for value added. Consequently, we are within the top 25% of schools nationally at KS4 and KS5 for progress. The humanities subjects have been highly significant in contributing to these excellent student outcomes.
The quality of life in Poole is good and there is easy access to diverse range of cultural and scenic attractions, including the Jurassic Coast.
