The school is looking to appoint a forward thinking and innovative practitioner who is passionate about the changes taking place currently within Wales and would like the opportunity to translate these ideas into practice. 

Ysgol Penrhyn Dewi VA a 3-16 Church in Wales school that serves the historic city of St Davids and surrounding areas.  Based in the picturesque surroundings of the Pembrokeshire National Park, the school is a caring, inclusive and welcoming environment where pupils and staff are proud of the strong community ethos.

The governors are seeking an excellent classroom practitioner and inspiring leader to lead the learning and teaching of Expressive Arts, Health and Wellbeing across the school. The ability to teach Music up to and including GCSE is essential. The successful candidate will be part of a team of specialists together with a number of primary trained professionals.  

This is an exciting opportunity to build upon the already strong links between the music department of St David's Cathedral and the school. A number of our pupils are currently Cathedral choristers and school music provision, including a number of school choirs, are very well supported by Cathedral staff
