Head of Extracurricular Department & Summer Programme Needed at VAS, Vietnam
Established in 2004 and licensed by the Vietnamese Government, Vietnam Australia International School (VAS) is a private school group with the national education system offering K-12 education programmes. At present, VAS is offering educational services to more than 7,200 students from K through 12 at 9 campuses in Ho Chi Minh City.
VAS has successfully implemented the two study pathways for its students, including: (1) the National Education Programme combined with the Cambridge Academic Programme (CAP) and (2) the National Education Programme combined with the Cambridge English Programme (CEP). Both study pathways are benchmarked with internationally and nationally recognized qualifications/certifications and carefully designed to suit students in Vietnam.

Reporting to the Academic Division Director, the Head of Extracurricular / Summer Camp is responsible for planning, directing, managing and executing the entire Extracurricular / Summer Camp at all VAS’s campuses to support the fulfilment of its “whole child development” education mission and student retention. Specific responsibilities include the followings:

· Represent the School in public events, marketing & promotional events; attend professional conferences, seminars, and workshops and deliver presentations as assigned by Central Academic Management Team
· Other duties as assigned from time to time by the Central Academic Management Team
REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION
· The successful applicant must have a track record of effective organisation of ECA and Summer Enrichment Activities on a large scale with a bachelor degree in Sports / Arts or related fields and previous management experience in an educational setting. He/she must be an outstanding administrator as well as an innovative extra-curricular leader, with not only substantial knowledge of co-curricular programme development but also hands on operational experiences of running such programmes from planning stage till completion.
· He/she must be able to demonstrate good budgeting, facilities, and equipment management skills, health & safety protocols, and the ability to work well with different levels of the organizations.

Initial contract is two year starting July 26, 2018.
