This is an exciting opportunity to lead a faculty, delivering extremely popular Computing& IT lessons across KS3 & KS4.
We are looking for a leader willing and able to grow the faculty as well as maintaining high standards of teaching and creating an exceptional place of learning. As Head of Faculty, you will need to be dynamic and be able to motivate the students through inspiring lessons and leadership. The ideal candidate will be highly knowledgeable, creative, and passionate about computing & IT and will be expected to lead, develop, and implement teaching and learning strategies to raise achievements for the faculty. Your daily role will involve managing, monitoring, and evaluating the work of staff and pupils within the faculty to maximise the chance of success.
We expect all staff to undertake a pastoral role as a form tutor. There are also opportunities to get involved in the wider life of the school through trips and extracurricular activities.
We will develop every staff member that joins our team, providing one-to-one support, coaching and mentoring and access to extensive professional development.
You must hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant undergraduate degree to be considered for this post.
