Required for September 2019, an ambitious and talented leader to lead the English Faculty. The successful candidate will be able to motivate and inspire their team whilst demonstrating outstanding classroom practice.

At GCSE, 48% of students achieved a 9-4 pass in both English and Maths; 64% of students gained a ‘standard pass’ in English and 43% of students achieved a ‘strong’ pass in English (grade 5 or above). Attainment 8 in English was 4.25 in comparison to the whole school figure of 3.85 with overall progress in English measured at -0.4.

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational practitioner both to join our senior leadership team, flesh out and lead our English faculty, which consists of eight full-time and one part-time English teachers assisted by one additional staff member who also teaches drama, two English Progress Mentors and two subject specific Learning Support Assistants.
We are keen to appoint dedicated colleagues who are eager to support our students to achieve in all aspects of their school life and who want to be key contributors to our school’s success.
