In September 2018 Longhill High School was judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted.


Longhill High School has begun its journey to outstanding and we are looking for enthusiastic and determined staff to join us.


Ofsted said in September 2018 that ‘Teachers have renewed enthusiasm for teaching and a group of staff actively research new ways to inspire pupils. Consequently, teachers are motivated and form part of the ambitious learning culture permeating throughout the school.’

We have an excellent induction programme and an outstanding CPD programme to support career progression.

We are looking for an exceptional Head of Faculty for Physical Education and Performing Arts that has a specialism of PE/Sports.

• Passionate about PE and a desire to influence and lead, Music, Drama and Dance

• An excellent practitioner with a proven track record

• An outstanding and innovative teacher

• An inspirational leader, ready to motivate and support a dedicated team 

We want to hear from you!  

The successful candidate will have the capacity to raise attainment through motivating and inspiring students and staff. You must have excellent communication skills, tremendous drive and a great enthusiasm for teaching and learning.
