The Education Alliance is a growing multi-academy trust, currently consisting of South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College, Malet Lambert School, Driffield School and Sixth Form, The Snaith School, Hunsley Primary School, North Cave CE Primary School and Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training.  We are here to make great schools and happier, stronger communities so that people have better lives.  We do this by always doing what is right, trusting each other and standing shoulder to shoulder and doing what we know makes the difference.  Doing what is right means always acting with integrity, in the interests of others and being honest, open and transparent.

This is a new role, developed to assist the Finance Director in overseeing all of the Finances of the Trust’s Secondary Schools and to directly manage all the Primary Schools and the SCITT. You will be a qualified accountant and have at least three years’ experience of working in an accountancy firm in accounts preparation. The role will include all aspects of finance including key reconciliations, budget to actuals, management accounts, 5 year budget planning and preparation for audit. In addition to the financial aspects, this role will drive procurement throughout the Trust and find efficiencies and savings by combining and leading on contract negotiation and value for money.

As this is a new role for the successful candidate to develop, we are happy to accept full time, part time and term time only applications, however, this role will require a minimum of 3 days per week.

We are a values driven organisation, offering autonomy, collaboration, shared learning and development, opportunities for innovation, personal and professional growth and a high level of professional trust.
