We are looking for a highly driven and enthusiastic Head of Geography who is passionate about creating a sense of awe and wonder in students about their world and the people in it.
You will be working with experienced colleagues who teach one of the most popular GCSE choices in the school and consistently achieve high outcomes for students across all age groups. You will have the leadership skills, experience and ideas to continue to drive the department’s journey towards excellence.
We are seeking someone with:
- A passion for teaching and learning.
- The ability to motivate and inspire the department and students.
- The ability to stimulate curiosity, interest and enjoyment of Geography.
- Creative teaching skills and a professional approach.
- High expectations of students.
- The determination to raise student achievement.
- Experience planning and facilitating educational visits.
