This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and dedicated teacher to lead Lincoln Castle Academy’s Geography Department as Head of Geography.  As a Head of Geography, you will implement an ambitious vision and bring your team with you on that journey.  You will work to ensure students are stretched, challenged and engaged across all key stages, taking a lead role in the delivery, resourcing and quality assurance of the subject from Y7 to Y13.  As Head of Geography you will oversee assessment, monitor student progress, drive improvements and secure a passion for the subject in students through the leadership you provide for all.  The successful candidate will be imaginative, highly motivated and a committed individual who will be very effective in raising standards of achievement in Geography. The successful candidate will also commit to making a full contribution to the ethos, identity and life of the academy.  Lincoln Castle Academy is a thriving 11-18 academy situated close to the cultural quarter of the historic city of Lincoln. Judged ‘Good’ by Ofsted and oversubscribed, the academy strives for excellence, seeking innovative and exciting ways of delivering the curriculum and enthusing students.
