We are seeking to appoint an imaginative, enthusiastic, and committed teacher to lead History in this highly successful selective school for boys.

About The Harvey Grammar School

The Harvey Grammar School is an all boys, selective, non-denominational secondary school with sixth form in Kent, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Folkestone has approximately 903 students on record. 

The Harvey Grammar School was founded in 1674. The school converted to academy status in 2012 and in 2016, it was identified as outstanding by Ofsted. A new 12 class teaching block opened in 2015.

The Folkestone secondary school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities for students to get involved in and expand their experiences outside the classroom, including language practice, sports classes, music and drama rehearsals and international residential trips around the world to expand their global and cultural outlook.
