South Wigston High School is a vibrant, exciting and over-subscribed 11-16 school on the outskirts of Leicester. 

At South Wigston High School we place great importance on cultivating a love of learning. We are looking to appoint a dynamic and highly motivated teacher to take on the role of Head of History from September 2018. The successful applicant will have the drive and motivation to be part of a forward thinking department and will be focussed on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for students. They will be committed to providing a quality experience for our students to ensure they reach their full potential.

Our vision is to grow a thriving Humanities department which engages our students and delivers exceptional outcomes. We are looking for someone to help move the department forward and help to develop the curriculum at both KS3 and KS4.
