Head of House – Pastoral and Behavioural Support for Students

Permanent – Immediate Start 

37 hours per week, 39 weeks per year - Actual Salary £19,853

We are seeking to appoint a Head of House who will be part of our highly successful Student Services Team.

This non-teaching role provides pastoral and behavioural support for students to ensure a high standard of learning, behaviour and achievement for all. The Head of House provides leadership and management within one of four House Teams and is responsible for promoting the ethos and success of the House within school. You will work closely with the tutor team, students, teaching staff, Learning Support and will lead on House meetings and events. You will help develop a sense of belonging, inclusion, support and intervention within each House. You will be an excellent networker and team player and will have an understanding of safeguarding issues and relevant experience of working with young people and external agencies. You will have a positive, solution focused outlook, perform well under pressure and possess excellent skills in communication, managing relationships, resolving conflict and shaping the future.
